SELECT THE PIANO SERVICE THATS RIGHT FOR YOU!
Selecting the piano service that’s right for you is as easy as 123! Simply scroll down and select the service tier that best matches your piano needs!

Tier 1
Our Tier 1 service is for your regular routine piano tuning. We recommend tuning your piano at least once a year, or ideally every 6 months to keep your piano at the proper pitch (A4=440). If your last piano tuning was not more than a year ago, this might be the best choice for you. However, if you suspect that your piano is out of tune by at least a half step, then you might want to take a look at our Tier 2 option which will bring your pianos pitch back to A4=440.

Tier 2
Our Tier 2 is our pitch raising tuning service. If your piano has not been tuned for a while, it may require a pitch raise. A pitch raise would be required if your piano is at least a half step out of tune. In this case, more than 1 tuning is required to bring back to the proper pitch (A4=440). The multiple tunings required to bring your piano back to pitch is included in this plan. If our piano technician determines that your piano does not require a pitch raise (your piano is not at least a half step out of tune) then a standard Tier 1 tuning will be recommended instead and you will not be billed for the Tier 2 service. If your piano does require a pitch raise, this will be performed that same day, it requires about 2 hours of service time, and in some cases it may require a follow up visit.

Tier 3 - Piano tuning with a standard action calibration
Choose this option if you want your piano technician to perform light adjustments and calibration to your piano action. The piano action are the moving parts such as key height, key dip, hammer alignment, hammer blow distance, hammer let-off, back-checking, lost motion, after touch and pedal adjustments. Since your pianos action is made up of thousands of moving parts made of wood, these tend to expand and contract with changes in the weather. This is very common and we recommend scheduling this type of service after the cold winter months. This service includes a standard piano tuning and a 7 point action calibration which requires about 2 hours of service time. This service does not include re-pinning hammers. When hammers do not fall back smoothly, this causes the piano keys to stick and this may or may not require re-pinning the hammer. However, this is not considered standard calibration. If your piano requires this service, our piano tech will be able to access, diagnose and make the appropriate recommendation. If many hammers are sticking, it may require the action of your piano to be brought back to our shop for a complete hammer re-pinning. The good news is that this is not very common and in most cases its just a couple of hammers that might need attention.
